Trip to The Sunshine State

Every year, my family goes to Florida in January. Every couple years, we get a bonus trip! This was one of those years.
We did the Disney "give a day-get a day" and we got a free day at one of the Disney parks!
We chose Epcot. We couldn't wait!!
Here we are, all ready to head off to Cadillac, and then we were going to drive to Florida.

Being nature people on the rocks!

"Family Picture Gone Wrong!"

SWIMMING!

Darby changed so much this trip, she was jumping in!! And of course the other girls never changed, they are still jumping in. :)

Telling ghost stories in the graveyard!!

Playing in the park the day before we leave for Florida!!

Since this was basically a free trip, instead of driving, we FLEW!!! Mom and dad surprised us and we freaked out.

Swimming at 9 in the morning in ........ FLORIDA!!

Going to the little place in Celebration,

and playing in the fountain,

while having a blast!

Taking "red" pictures with my genuis idea of putting my finger over the flash.

Going to Universal's CityWalk for a special treat!

And of course there's always time for a little wrestling.

Krispy Kremes and Ghirardelli ice cream in Downtown Disney!

Well we we certianly surprised when we showed up to our hotel and there was a racoon eating our garbage! Eww! But I got some pictures!!

More swimming!!

Sophie and Mylie caught a lizard!! I was surprised because those things are very fast.

Playing in the Downtown Disney fountain the last day there!

Hangin' out with Buzz!

Goofing off in the airport,

and being silly on the plane!

We were so sad we had to go!
I had the best trip ever!! I can't wait until January!!

Teen Camp at Somerset

Camp was so fun this year. I had a great time. I met new friends, got to hang with my cousin, and hang with my BFF. I had a great time.

Carpet Ball was a favorite amongst us children.

Here is my cabin.
From left to right, Samantha, Sara, (my counselor) Tori, Amanda, Sara, (yes, we have 2) Monica, and Jenna.

The first thing that we did was the ginormous slip n' slide. The line was as big as the slide!! Anyway, it was a lot of fun.

Jenna, waiting for lunch.....

Sara and Amanda, also waiting for lunch!

The guys, crazy as usual!!

Tori and her beloved Churro.

Jonah playing 4 square!

Playing "ninja" before chapel.

In the morning, Sam and I headed off to drama. We were the first ones there, so Samantha decided to challenge her imaginary friend to a game of Foosball! ( i believe it was a tie.)

The drama class! From left to right, top to bottom, Me, Brianna, John, Micah, Paris,
Samantha, Victoria, and Lauren.

J-Bob and Tori!! If you didn't know, J-Bob is our speaker for chapel. He has 3 daughters, and he brought 2 of them to camp. Amy and Christi. Christi became our cabin buddy. You will hear more of her later.

TUBING!!!!!!! Tuesday was our tubing day. We wore it out!!! Best time EVER!!!!!!!

Monica coming back from her wipeout.

Jenna and Monica ridin' the waves!

Then it was Tori and I's turn!!

Me after my large wipeout.

Amanda and Sara's turn!! (and it wasn't our counselor.)

Double whammy!

Sam and Christi!

Amanda and Sara, again, and this time, it IS our counselor!

Cute Christi!

Tired after a long game of Gold Rush.

Bridgitte from Wellspring, the band that played for chapel.

My trail riding buddies!!

This is Lucky, the horse I rode on my trail ride.

A professional picture of my drama class! Kaitlyn, my teacher, me, John, Brianna, Emily, my other teacher, Lauren, Paris, Samantha, and Micah. (victoria went home sick.)

I got a group photo of Wellspring. I stink at remembering names!! The girl licking that dude is Makayla, the dude is Jon, the girl being tackled is Bridgette, and the three guys in blue are Paul, Ethan, and Jackson. I can't remember the guy with the purple bandanna or the guy in the green. Like I said, I'm not that good at remembering names.

Well that's it for Teen Camp 2010!! Hope you enjoyed it and feel compelled to go next year!! You really shouldn't miss it.
