To the Zoo!

After weeks of planning, the day came. The day that the Reeds, the Buchholz's and the DeBackers would take a trip to the Toledo Zoo. We loaded up into the big bus, (loaned for this occasion from the Ganton Retirement Home) and we were off.

This little statue has a story! When I was about 3, and we lived in Toledo, we would come to the zoo often. On one occasion, I named this statue Jessica! I was happy to see that she was still here.
